JEE 2025 Highlights

In June 2025, the JEE results highlighted outstanding achievements by students from Punjab’s government schools, with 6 students securing admission to IITs.

A total of 44 students cleared JEE Advanced, while 265 qualified JEE Mains — marking a remarkable 74% increase from 2024, which had 152 qualifiers.

Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Mann said that the ‘Sikhiya Kranti’ initiative, launched by his government to revitalise the education sector, was enabling the state to produce such achievers.

Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains credited the success to the government’s efforts to empower students to crack competitive exams like JEE & NEET through the PACE program, launched in November 2023.

JASPREET KAUR

Jaspreet Kaur, a student from RSMS SAS Nagar, has secured admission to IIT Ropar in Computer Science Engineering.

  • Jaspreet’s father is a laborer and mother is a housewife
  • With a family income of Rs. 8,000 per month, and no access to expensive coaching, Jaspreet relied on her school teachers, Avanti’s broadcast classes and weekly test series to prepare for the exams.
  • Her dedication and perseverance led to an exceptional performance — achieving an AIR 778 in JEE Advanced and a 98.11 percentile in JEE Mains 2025

YUVRAJ SINGH 

Yuvraj Singh, a student from School of Eminence Bathinda has secured admission to NIT Jalandhar in Mechanical Engineering.

Yuvraj’s journey began when his principal recognized his potential in Grade 6 and encouraged him to pursue Science. With disciplined self-study, support from school teachers, JEE Advanced Bootcamp in RSMS SAS Nagar, and consistent use of Avanti’s recorded lectures and test series, he sharpened his concepts and exam strategy and managed to qualify the JEE Advanced 2025 exam with AIR 5421.

Yuvraj’s father is an auto driver and mother is a homemaker and family has a monthly income of meagre Rs. 6,600.

CM Felicitation Event

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr. Bhagwant Mann, organized a felicitation event in Chandigarh on June 5th, 2025, to honor the 44 JEE Advanced qualifiers. The event celebrated the achievements of these high-performing students from humble backgrounds, with the CM personally congratulating them for their hard work, perseverance, and exceptional performance in the exams.

The CM further appreciated the efforts of Knowledge Partners, the Department of School Education & the School authorities for their consistent support in creating an enabling environment that helped students prepare effectively and achieve such a remarkable success.

Parents also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for the PACE program, which offers affordable & accessible JEE coaching to all students.
